“A Wreath for Marley” was a fun, quick read. I appreciated the introduction, which put more detail to the story you (your Dad) re-told earlier this month. I think my favorite line was “…a sort of hillbilly Bing Crosby…” Yes, to someone in 1942, that description is pretty apt. I great re-working of the holiday classic. In this case, the Richard Stone character’s stinginess is with his emotions. He’s a hard man and the flashbacks to his past life shows how he got there.
